6:1 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he lives in thick darkness.

8:16 All the work ordered by Solomon was completed, from the day the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid until it was finished; the Lord’s temple was completed.

14:4 He ordered Judah to seek the Lord God of their ancestors ¹  and to observe his law and commands. ²

15:4 Because of their distress, they turned back to the Lord God of Israel. They sought him and he responded to them. ³

24:18 They abandoned the temple of the Lord God of their ancestors, ⁴  and worshiped ⁵  the Asherah poles and idols. Because of this sinful activity, God was angry with Judah and Jerusalem. 24:19 The Lord sent prophets among them to lead them back to him. ⁶  They warned ⁷  the people, but they would not pay attention.
